BURSTNER 747-2

One of the largest Mobile homes available for sale in the UK.

Burstner.747-2

BURSTNER 747-2 on a Fiat Ducato 2.8 diesel. 2002. Less than 20000 miles. This is an easy to drive left hander - therefore ideal for those holidays on the continent. We have had this van from new, and only toured the UK, with no problems. The 747 is ideal for those family holidays – having under floor storage throughout which will take as much gear (or as little) that you need. The rear garage has a factory fitted scooter/cycle stand with a lift out ramp, and still has loads of space. We had a Witter tow bar fitted but never got around to using it, but it’s useful if it’s needed. A 3.5m wind out Fiamma awning helps to keep the sun off, and a Strikeback Alarm system keeps your belongings safe.

Internally the 747 has 2 very large double beds, one over the cab and the other at the rear. Both beds having mattresses on top of slatted bases, which are very comfortable indeed. The rear bed has its own cd/radio and speakers. The wardrobe space is above the Truma air heater/hot water boiler. The well appointed bathroom has a cassette toilet, sink with large mirrored cabinet above it. The shower unit has bi-fold doors. The kitchen has a stainless steel 3 ring hob with drop down glass top, a circular stainless steel sink complete with chopping board and a high level Smev gas oven and grill. A 3 way fridge is fitted under the hob. Lots of storage space for kitchen pots and pans etc. The double dinette which normally seats 4 people has a table which can be extended to seat 6 people, and  can be converted to make an extra (smaller) double bed. The long settee, which converts to a large single, lifts up to gain access to one of the underside lockers. Inside this locker is a separate Truma hot air heater which heats the main part of the saloon and is controlled via a thermostat in the saloon. Storage cupboards and TV cupboard (with pull out shelf) are fitted at high level. The 747 is fitted with 6 seat belts including those in the cab which has a captains’ passenger seat, extra internal light, cd radio and veneer finish to the dash. All in all, a superb motor home which has given us many comfortable and relaxing holidays. The condition of the 747 is excellent throughout.
